Frequently Asked Questions Q. Where are your products produced?
A. All our products are manufactured in our factory in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. Should you wish to visit, we are very easy to find being only 500 metres from Junction 9 of the M5 motorway.
Q. Are your containers safe to contain foodstuffs?
A. All of our products, whether they are sports bottles or industrial containers, are made from prime grade Polyethylene materials which are always certified and tested as being safe to contain food and drink products.
Q. Where do your raw materials come from?
A. Our raw plastic materials are purchased from the major petrochemical companies of Europe and the Middle East. They are produced in oil refineries as a product of crude oil and ethylene gas.
Q. I'm looking for a bottle but it's not in you catalogue - what should I do?
A. Please contact us as we're always pleased to provide costings for new moulds and special products. If we're aware that another moulder is already producing a similar bottle we'll usually direct you towards them.
Q. What about delivery?
A. We will arrange delivery regardless of the quantity of containers you buy. Larger quantities are normally delivered on curtain-sided vehicles holding up to 24 pallets while smaller consignments are dispatched on single pallets or with parcel carriers such as Nightfrieght or DHL. If you operate your own vehicles we are usually happy for you to arrange collection and will reduce our price accordingly.
SCHOOLS QUESTIONS
Q. How many bottles should I buy?
A. Bottles are packed in boxes of 48. The smallest number you can buy is 1 box of 48 - thereafter in multiples of 48.
Q. What are the cap colours?
A. We have 10 choices:
Red Blue Yellow Green Orange Black
Blue with Red mouthpiece
Red with Blue mouthpiece
Yellow with Blue mouthpiece
Blue with White mouthpiece
Replacement caps available in boxes of 100 at £30 +vat or bags of 36 at £13.68 +vat
Q. How can I write on the bottles?
A. Dishwasher proof pens are available individually for £2.50 +vat to enable you to permanently write a name on each bottle. We also offer multi packs of 10 at £20 +vat in black and assorted colours.
One pen should be sufficient for at least 200 bottles.
Q. Can I mix colours?
A. Unfortunately, all of the caps in a box are the same colour. You can have different colours only by buying a number of boxes.
Q. How much do they cost?
A. 1 -9 cases (48-432 bottles) = 88p per bottle +vat
10 -19 cases (480-912 bottles) = 83p per bottle +vat
20 cases & over (960+ bottles) = 78p per bottle +vat
All school bottles are packed in boxes of 48 inclusive of the cap colour of your choice

Q. We would like our school logo printed onto the bottles. What are the minimum order
requirements and how do we place an order for custom printing?
A. The minimum order requirement is 480 bottles being 10 boxes x 48 bottles.
You may place your order by either fax, mail, email or online. Should you have any
queries, please do not hesitate to telephone us on 01684 298206 whereby we shall
be pleased to assist with your enquiries. To place an order online you will need to enter
into our www.bottles4sports.com webpage which can be accessed via
www.howardplastics.com. Select 'Printed Bottles' and follow the on-screen instructions
which provide a choice of 1, 2 or 3 colour print options. All custom printed bottles are
ordered on a ProForma basis. Please also note our artwork requirements which can be
viewed on-line or provided to you upon request.
Q. Do you make a bottle carrier?
A. Yes we have an 8 bottle carrier in a choice of 3 colours, red, blue or black.
Q. How do we pay?
A. We will send an invoice on dispatch of the bottles. Please send us a cheque or BACS payment once you have received the bottles and invoice. Alternatively you can opt to place your order online. You do not need to make payment online and you should select 'invoice with order' on the payment screen. Should you wish to make payment online please choose either WorldPay or PayPal as your payment method.
Q. How do we wash these bottles?
A. Hot soapy water followed by a quick rinse should be sufficient. The bottles are also safe in the dishwasher up to 65 degrees Centigrade. Boiling water should be avoided as should some commercial washing machines which run at higher than 65 degrees C.
Q. Are the bottles safe?
A. Our bottles and caps are made from Food Grade Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) which is totally safe for repeated food use.
The bottles and caps all comply with BSEN71 and 90/128/EEC.
LDPE material should not be confused with PET.

SPORTS QUESTIONS
Q. What is your minimum order quanitity for your sports bottles?
A. Our sports bottles are sold in boxes of 48. Our minimum order is 1 box.
Q. Are your sports bottles sold with a push/pull sports cap?
A. Yes. All our sports and schools bottles are priced inclusive of the sports cap colour of your
choice. There are 10 choices of cap colour:
Black Red Blue Green Orange Yellow
Navy with Red mouthpiece
Red with Navy mouthpiece
Yellow with Blue mouthpiece
Navy with White mouthpiece
One cap colour per box.
Q. We are a small club and only require a small number of sports bottles - can we still buy our
bottles from you as we do not wish to place a large order?
A. Yes. We offer sports bottles with cap in boxes of 48. This should cater for
the majority of clubs, associations, leisure centres and other consumers requirements.
Q. We wish to place a large order for sports bottles - are we able to purchase these from you?
A. Yes. You may order any number of boxes of bottles sufficient for your needs. The larger
the order, the greater the discount incentives we can offer.
Q. We require our club's crest to be printed on the bottles - what are the minimum order
requirements?
A. The minimum order requirement for custom printing of bottles is 480 bottles (10 boxes). We offer a choice of either 1, 2 or 3 colour printing on Natural or White bottles.
Q. We only require 240 custom printed bottles - why do you not offer in-house custom
printing for anything below 480 bottles?
A. In order to provide a cost-effective and high quality service to all of our customers
we cannot accept orders for custom printed sports bottles below 480 bottles but
are continually seeking ways to improve our customer service and welcome your
comments.

Q. What are your choices of bottles?

Q. Do you make bottle carriers?
A.Yes we also offer an 8 bottle carrier in 3 colours, red, blue or black. The carriers are of exceptional quality, durability & strength. One of the toughest on the market!
